The ParK is a private island in the Pacific Ocean which is both a collection an synthesis of all other parks. It opens a new phase in mass entertainment while questionning the very notions of entertainment and leisure. Based on the short story “Le ParK” by Bruce Bégout, this series of collages depicts the variety of “repulsions” hosted in the ParK. They bring together wildlife reserve, concentration camp, urban technopole, refugee camps, zoos, kindergardens, cemetaries, prisons, farms and theme parks. Most residents are prisoners who are playing their own role whereas the few visitors are highly selected. The ParK extrapolates from the real world in order to understand and question its dynamics.
